Background information
In pediatric orthopedics diseases are treated concerning the musculoskeletal system. This includes congenital diseases, traumatic injury, growth and developmental disorders.
Collaboration with other departments is found in different research projects.
Overall aim
By initiating and participating in various research projects we eventually aim to optimize individual patient care. As a part of this process multiple stages of patient care are evaluated in a research setting.
Research focus areas
Both prospective and retrospective research is done, depending on the specific research question.
