About our project
The CAST study is a large multicenter randomized trial. The aim of the CAST study is to assess whether casting type, circumferential casting versus splinting, is of influence on the redisplacement risk of displaced distal radius fractures in adults. Ten hospitals in the Netherlands participated in this study. Patient recruitment took place from May 2020 to November 2021 and over 750 patients were included.
