About M. (Michele) Fenu, PhD
Introduction
My research will be focused on engineering the micro environment of the cell using tunable hydrogels in order to stimulate the cells to regenerate tissues. In particular, this work will initially focus on modulating cell processes and stem cell fate decision. The overall goals of my research are to improve the current available in vitro tissue models to study human disease processes as well as implantable materials that stimulate the body’s innate healing response.
