About L.C. (Lize) Jiskoot PhD

Introduction

I work in a combined position as postdoctoral researcher and clinical neuropsychologist in training at the Alzheimer and FTD Expertise Centers of the Department of Neurology. My PhD (viva date 11-2018) was focused on neuroimaging and neuropsychological changes in the presymptomatic stage of familial frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in the FTD Risk Cohort (FTD-RisC).

As postdoctoral researcher, I am trying to extend this line of research, focusing on the development and application of new cognitive markers sensitive for the earliest disease changes.

Since 2020, I am working as (co)-PI of FTD-RisC and Genetic FTD Initiative (GENFI) projects.
