NOTE: the "Radiation Protection course: Open Sources" requires preparation, this preparation will be shared with you in advance.
Target group: This part of the course is designed for workers who are involved with (clinical) use of open (dispersible) radioactive sources. Make sure you sign in for the components Introduction and Sealed sources as well. This hands-on component of the course aims at handling radioactive sources consciously and safely in a radionuclide lab. You will make a Tc-99m dilution and decontaminate an small area.
We will follow the Covid guidelines of the Erasmus Medical Center: only attend without any Covid-related health issues, keep your distance and wash your hands regularly.
After signing in you will receive a time slot for this practical part.
Please note: You can only participate after following the components “Introduction” and Sealed sources”.
