Going on a holiday this summer? Join this OHP Citizen Science project

April 5, 2022

Are you going on holiday soon and would you like to contribute to scientific research on mosquito-borne infectious diseases (and are you over 18 years old)? Then participate in the One Health Travel study.

Within this study viruses like West Nile, Usutu, Chikungunya, Dengue and Zika are investigated. In addition, the tick borne encephalitis virus is also under investigation.

The One Health Travel study is coordinated by UMCU and is one of the Citizen Science projects of the multidisciplinary research project One Health PACT. One Health PACT aims to gain systemic understanding of mosquito-borne diseases and how their emergence and transmission is affected by major environmental and social changes. Participate here!
