Looking for 1000 travelers for research on mosquito an tickborne infections

August 26, 2021

The summer holidays have started for many people and they often bring a lot of mosquitoes and ticks with them. Besides unpleasant itching, red spots and bumps, these insects can also transmit diseases to humans and animals.

The UMC Utrecht, Erasmus MC and the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) are starting a study (One Health Travel Study) into the prevention of infections transmitted by mosquitoes and ticks. They are looking for 1,000 travelers who want to contribute.
Interested travelers can find more information and apply online via the study website: www.OHtravel.nl
